Jazz 3 Tonight

Just got in from Jazz 3 rehearsal this morning. We ran the concert. These little kids are going to blow the roof off the place. I'll grant that my group skews a little older this year, but I still have a killer group. The trumpets are 1 fifth grader 2 sixth graders and 1 seventh grader (the 7th grader just started trumpet this a couple months ago.) The trombones have 2 8th graders a 7th grader and a 6th grader that makes a big difference even though I'm making the older kids play last chair. And saxes are: 4 sixth graders, and 4 7th graders (I think). Rhythm section 4 6th graders 1 7th grader, 1 eighth grader.

These kids are going to be awesome tonight.

Now more side effects: My lymph nodes on my neck are barely palpable today! Isn't that crazy? They've been rock hard for the entirety of the clinical trial and grew a little a couple weeks ago. Now? Almost nothing. But I woke up early this morning too tired to sleep. My legs hurt with that feeling of exhaustion. I don't know what that means, but it kept me awake from 4:30 on. Anyway, I feel very good now and after I get done writing this, I'll do my last minute stuff to get ready for tonight.

Thanks for catching up.
