Node Is Down.

Ok, so this is pretty common in people with cancer. You keep a close eye on whatever the first noticeable symptom was. My first was the node that popped up on my neck. A couple weeks ago I said that there was a new one that had popped up and I was watching it. I also said I called the doctor and as it was tender, was probably nothing to worry about. I have had a head cold and lymph nodes do get inflamed when you have a cold. They are supposed to.

I started taking a decongestant and an expectorant and lo and behold, not only did the new node go down, but the residual nodes are smaller. Crazy.

I went to the YMCA yesterday and started working out. We’ll see if I can keep that going. I feel great today.

As Mathew commented on Tuesday’s blog, I found out yesterday that the quartet was not playing live. As I noted that day, I couldn’t believe how well in tune they played. As it turns out they were playing along to a recording. The recording is what we all heard. So that explains that.

Now we know how to handle next year’s festival of lights parade. That quartet played live and Kelly’s saxophone stopped working. We’ll just play a recording of ourselves playing and play along with it.
