Well, by now many of you are very aware of my crowdsourcing efforts. I've crowd sourced my new band's logo, I'm crowdsourcing financing for a project and now I am crowdsourcing editing of my blog through goosegrade.com. How it works is this: I just added a goosegrade widget in my sidebar. As you read this blog, if you notice a typo, grammar, or factual error, you note it in goosegrade.
Will it work? Can everything be crowdsourced? I don't know. I know Mom used to call me up, whenever she saw a typo. So at the very least I'll save her that call. I also know occasionally I construct some very awkward sentences. So if you notice anything and you'd like to suggest a correction, please do so.
Tomorrow I get the results of my last CT. I hadn't been feeling good and quite honestly I've been a little worried. I actually feel pretty good now, but I've also learned that how I feel really is not a good indication of how the cancer is doing. So, I wait for the results tomorrow ready for anything.
Pray for the best.

Remix, EIU, Flu?
Honestly, the last few weeks, I've felt the clock ticking as it were. I've been waking up tired and had flu like symptoms. I hope its just the flu. My CT scan is next week, we'll see what's happening then.
So in the meantime, I've shifted into high gear with my music project. I went back intothe studio and remixed Stick boy which is enjoying it's final day as song of the week on Talentcast.nl.
Today I'm heading down to Charleston to the Jazz Alumni concert. I hope I get a chance to play. I have sop many fond memories of Eastern and of Al Horney, in particular. He really is the man who taught me how to play lead trumpet. Bill Adam gave me the skills, but it was Al who showed me how to use them and even more importantly what to listen for when I listen to ther lead players.
Unfortunately Jana is so busy with end of the year stuff, she won't be ably to make it.
Well, it will be a great time anyway.
Check out my Songwriting blog for the session video.

Song of the Week
My Song Stick Boy is song of the week, this week on Talent Cast, the weekly radio show featuring unsigned artists from Sellaband.com. This is really the first mix of Stick Boy and so wasn't actually intended as anything more than a demo. But there you have it.
I am going to try and get a press release out soon. I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up on my health blog. My next CT is April 21. Pray for good news. As I said my trip to Texas, While not bad, was a bit of a let down. In 6 months I go back and he wants me to talk to the transplant team. Here we go again.
I know its the only real cure. And I know they are state of the art there. But I truly want to put that option off. Every year I can put it off, is one more year of data they can use to make sure I survive the procedure. Plus, the best results come with a complete remission, something I don't have.
Forming the band has been a great way to keep busy and keep my mind off the inevitable. I'll have a cool new logo at the end of the week and hopefully some band pictures. See, I need to keep the transplant at bay for about 2-3 years. That's about how long it takes to work a band into a steady circuit. Oh well. I'll do what I have to do. I am going to beat this cancer and come out better for it!
